I immediately started styling it up, though I have a feeling it will be a revolving tableau. The most fun was gathering some of my favorite books to keep stacked in the little straw tray- a Target find.
Here are close-ups of the ram's head and foot:
We also added some end tables- perfect resting spots for drinks or tidbit plates. I didn't have the foresight to take a "before" photo, but this little table was picked up for $15 at my favorite thrift store. It was painted a pea green and not-so-attractive, but we gave it a glossy red coat (the room just needed a little pop) and I plan to have a piece of glass cut for the top. I love the way it turned out!
And this little table, from Etsy seller Solstice Home I love! I love that, along with the tray, it adds a natural element to the room and some good texture.
Here's a parting shot of the living room, which is finally feeling pulled together! Now I just need to concentrate on adding artwork to the wall above the love seat to feel like the space is "done."

This looks terrific! The tables are perfect complements to the room!
The bamboo table looks perfect in the room. Thanks so much for sharing this. I love seeing where my little pieces end up. I may just have to show this lovely room on my blog.
